- In 1999 Niklas and Niklas also known as DoubleN decided they wanted to explore themselves as artists. They uploaded songs onto mp3.com and after a few months they held the #1 spot on the Billboard Internet Sales Top 40. These songs were all made under the alias “DoubleN”. This success automatically led to a record deal with Virgin Records, where they as DoubleN released 3 singles, toured with Maria Rubia (Fragma) and got Grammy nominated twice for best remix team. In 2001, DoubleN released many remixes and achieved several #1s in dancecharts for acts in Italy, Hungary, Denmark and Sweden.Over 30 remixes was made during this period. In 2004 they wrote their first song for Kate Ryan and they have been her hitmakers since then. Most recently they produced “Ella elle l’a”, and her whole album “Free” for Kate which became a world wide hit. The last few years Niklas Bergwall has written songs for artists all over the world, among them the Mexican band RBD wo sold nearly 5.000.000 copies of their debut album.
